Flowing singletrack with hidden waterfalls, climbs that reveal unforgettable views, laps at the Oz Trails Bike Park, shaded gravel roads that disappear into the Ozarks. Hi, I'm the rider behind Recess.

I've spent years riding the gravel, singletrack, and back roads of Northwest Arkansas - first as a local just chasing the next good loop, then as the person friends and visitors kept asking for routes, stops, and pacing advice.

Recess is the version of that I always wished existed: routes I've actually ridden, stops I'd actually send my friends to, and trips sequenced so the days feel right - not just the miles. Every recommendation here comes from time in the saddle, not a spreadsheet.
